Ripshin Update: Nov. 24, 2025

Ripshin Members,

We have a few updates as we head into the week of Thanksgiving.  

• The Board of Directors had decided to cancel the Quarterly Board Meeting that was scheduled for December 4th as there is no pressing new business at this time.

• The annual lake drawdown will begin the week after Christmas and take place over approximately 12 days following depending on rainfall.  Please make preparations for cold weather, taking boats out of the water and securing them for the winter.  

• You may have noticed a load of dirt on the dam crest.  This is for filling some small erosion "rills" or small grooves that formed on the downstream side of the dam. This task was noted on the final inspection report and the work is now taking place for this minor repair. 

• We are obtaining estimates on the gate repair and will send an update when we know more.  A higher resolution camera has been installed to monitor traffic.
